Наро́дная Респу́блика Бангладе́ш — страна в Южной Азии. По всему периметру страна окружена Индией, за исключением небольших участков границы с Мьянмой на юго-востоке и Бенгальским заливом. Вместе с современным индийским штатом Западный Бенгал образует этнолингвистический регион Бенгалия. Название Бангладеш на официальном языке бенгали означает «Страна Бенгалия».

Бангладеш является седьмой страной в мире по количеству населения и входит в список наиболее густонаселённых стран мира с высоким уровнем бедности.
